European Tour 2014





I am very pleased to announce that Kim Jung Gi will be back in Europe in June 2014 ! The planned dates for now are :

  • June 4th : Live drawing & Opening night of the SpyGames Exhibition at the Galerie Glénat (Carreau du Temple – 22 rue de Picardie – Paris 3eme – Métro République / Arts et Métiers) around 18:00. NO SIGNING there.
  • June 5th : Signing session @ Pulps Comics (9 rue Dante – Paris 5) around 16:00 or 17:00.
  • June 7/8 th : KJG will be participating to the European Comic Festival of Strasbourg in France (great festival, I used to run it ^^). He will be signing his new comic book along with Jean-David Morvan « Spy Games », his sketchbooks and, of course, demonstrating his huge talent by drawing one of his oversized creation. Many other wonderful artists will be attending the festival … don’t miss the date !
  • June 11th, 18h30 : official realease of the “Spy Games” comic at the “Centre Culturel Coréen” : 2 avenue d’Iéna, Paris, France with Glénat. KJG will be signing his new book and sketchbooks (it will be possible to buy them directly there) and will maybe perform a giant drawing as he usually does. More info here.
  • June 12th : Signing session at BD Fugue in Annecy (1 rue Jean Jaurès – Annecy).
  • June 14/15th : KJG will be at the festival « Bulles en Seyne » (La Seyne-sur-Mer, France).

    Is mr.Kim Jung Gi also visiting other european countries like the Netherlands, Germany or Belgium (..preferably the Netherlands:) ?
    would love to meet him someday, but France is just a wee b it to far…

      We’re still working on his program. I’ll update the site as we know more. The most probable option today is Balgium, but … you never know 🙂

    I wanted to know if Mr. Kim Jung Gi could show his childhood/teen sketchbooks?
    I think it would make people appreciate his art even more.

    I wanna Know if you come to Spain this summer on your european tour…
    Is posible to buy your books when you make a masterclass in european countries…?

      Hi, unfortnatly no, it is only France this time, but there are plans for the future to visit other countries. ANd yes, usually it is possible to buy the books during the mastervlasses 🙂

    just wondering if there are already ideas of visiting some other european country, besides France?
    ..would love to meet mr.Kim Jung Gi, but France is just to far away:(

      Hi, yes, there are plans to come and visit more countries, but unfortunatly not this year (so far). It is mainly a problem of time as KJG is touring a lot (USA, Brazil, China, Malaysia….).
      But il will happen 🙂
