Payment

So, to pay for the books, the easiest way is to send me an email telling me

  • which book(s) you need
  • which country you want them to be sent to
  • wether you choose” insured” or “uninsured” shipping
  • what do you use for payement : Paypal, Credit Card, bank transfer, french chèque or any other way.

Then

  • If you prefer Paypal, I will send you a ‘Paypal invoice’. With this method, I have to add 3,5% to the amount of your order, that is the commission Paypal is taking. Even if you live in a country where Euro is not the currency, just select and  choose ‘Euro’ when sending money…the conversion will be automatic.
  • If you want to pay by  Credit Card, i will also send you a “Paypal invoice”. Just follow the instructions which says ‘Pay an invoice’ and… “I don’t have a Paypal account”. Then you can use Visa, Mastercard, American Express… you name it 🙂
  • For Bank Transfer Drop me a line at jc@kimjunggi.net and i will send you all the details (IBAN, SWIFT…)
  • Finally, if you have a French bank account, you can simply send me a chèque at the following address : Optima – 125 route de Mittelhausbergen – 67200 Strasbourg. The order should be “Optima”. Please don’t forget to send me your complete destination address in the letter !!

      Hi,
You definitly don’t need a french bank account to order, just drop me a line and i’ll send you our bank information (IBAN…). Then just give these informations to your bank and ask them to wire the money on the account. That’s it, it’s as simple as it gets 🙂 I will try to set up a online shop somedays but really, all this is very ‘artisanal’ for now !

      Hi,
      The total cost for the 2013 shipped to the USA is 89 € for the book + 46 € for insured shipping = 135 € OR 89 € + 13 € for uninsured shiping = 102 €.
You can find all the details in the “Prices and shipping Section” of the website.

So, for the 3 books, it’s about 8 kilos, which means for Australia either 151 € insured (yeah, i know, that a lot !!!) or 32 € uninsured.

Hi, sure no problem to use a “Ship and Shop” address like Aramex, but i’m not sure it would be cheaper than a direct shipping to the Middle East.
As an example, shipping to the UK would cost 27 € insured or 10 € uninsured ; Shipping to the Middle-East would cost 46 € insured or 13 € uninsured.
So, it depends on which shipping option you prefer 🙂

KJG’s work is truly fabulous! *-*
So, I hope I’m not bothering, because I have a few questions. I looked around, but there seems to be no rubric treating this: How long would it take for a sketchbook shipped to zone B to arrive?
And one other thing: Are the sketchbooks in sale in any stores in France? If yes, could I please be provided with some addresses?
    Thank you so much,
    LM

Hi and thanks for your message 🙂
It usually takes about 1 or 2 weeks for Zone B.
Regarding the sketchbooks, you can find them in Strasbourg (that’s where I am, so please drop by !), in La Bouquinerie du Lion (Belfort, France) or in Paris (Pulps and Album Comics, but there are more expensive than here including shipping).
      Best,

    Hi there!

I am sorry to bother you. I was wondering if you know if any 3rd party distributers that are selling these sketchbooks in Australia. I’d love to buy these fantastic books, however the postage would add to an already expensive purchase by a significant margin.

I found a site supposedly based in Australia that sells these books with free postage, however, they have not responded to my emails and the phone number they have listed is not working:

    http://pendara.com.au/store/product/kim-jung-gi-2013-sketch-collection/

I just wanted to check to see if this website is legitimate and that you were aware of them selling your books outside your normal distribution avenues.

If not, then would you be able to recommend the cheapest way of acquiring these books? I will be visiting Europe (Annecy, Monaco, and Paris in France and London England mostly) in a month, are there any physical shopfronts that I might be able to visit in order to get these books at a slightly cheaper price than what I might get if I shipped them to Australia?

    Many thanks!
    Marcel

      Hi Marcel,
Yes, Pendara is the official distributor of KJG’s books in Australia, so they should answer you !
If you are coming to Annecy next month, you might find Kim Jung Gi there 🙂 Just check the “European Tour” section, I hope the dates suits you 😉

So, yes, we also ship to Canada and South America. Where we don’t ship is USA and Asia.

      Hi ARthur,
      So, the 3 sketchbooks are 247 €.
      Shipping has 2 options :
      – Insured. Cost = 60 € (there are new prices for out of Europe shipping but I had no time to update the site yet !). If it gets lost, you are reimbursed, or get a new shipping.
      – Uninsured : 32 €. If it is lost…. it is lost !
